Verification

One of the first measures we took to ensure trust and safety is to verify the identity and background of our hosts and guests. We use various methods, such as phone number verification, email verification, social media verification, government-issued ID verification, or even background checks.

Host Verification: We require all hosts to verify their identity and provide us with a government-issued ID. This helps us ensure that the person hosting the property is who they say they are.

Guest Verification: We also require all guests to verify their phone number, email address, identity (government-issued ID) before booking a property. This helps us ensure that the person booking the property is who they say they are and reduces the risk of fraudulent bookings.


Clear and accurate listings

We improve trust and safety by making sure that all listings are clear, accurate, and up-to-date. We encourage our hosts to provide detailed descriptions of their properties, amenities, rules, and expectations. We also ask them to upload high-quality photos and videos that showcase the real condition of their spaces. By providing clear and accurate listings, we reduce misunderstandings, disputes, or disappointments between hosts and guests.


Secure Payments

We use a secure payment system (SPS) to process all transactions. This ensures that all payments are processed safely and securely. An SPS uses data encryption and other data security tools to safeguard the payment information of users, and block unauthorised access and fraud.

Reviews and Ratings

The review system is a powerful tool to help us build trust and safety for our community. It allows our hosts and guests to share their feedback, ratings, and experiences with each other. It also helps us to monitor the quality of our service, identify issues, and resolve problems. We are encouraging our users to leave honest, constructive and respectful reviews after each stay. We also do our best to manually moderate the reviews and remove any inappropriate or fake ones.
